Fashion Show Benefits Sanctuary Renovation

Ladies from the Bleckley community donned fancy scarves, jackets and other high-fashion items of The French Shoppe Tuesday at the Cochran-Bleckley Rec. Department.  A fashion show was held with the Nashville, Tennessee based boutique for renovation of Cochran First United Methodist Church's sanctuary.  As organizer Del Daniels explained during opening remarks, the sanctuary is in need of new lighting.

Another fundraiser the church will be doing is selling pumpkins the first three weekends of October begining this Saturday.  A "pumpkin patch" will be in front of the Cochran Police Department from 9 am to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and 1-5 pm on Sundays.
