Hawkinsville Mom Sees 'Powers' in Photos | Arts & Culture

Amanda Powers, 30, grew up in the tiny town of Statenville, Georgia, and is now, happily married, living in Hawkinsville, with four children - two boys "by heart," and two girls "by blood." Family is important to the Middle Georgia Technical College electronics student. Her hobbies include singing, cooking, sitting around a bonfire and relaxing.But her passion is photography. "I love getting the pictures and moments that people don't expect -  those special looks only meant for your loved one ... the stubborn smile from the shy two-year -old  - I just love it."
