Eastman’s newest event, Main Street by Moonlight, is scheduled for Thursday, July 7th from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. in downtown Eastman.

The evening will feature live performances by local band, Soul Shakers, featuring vocalist and harmonica extraordinaire Sirius Glory, drummer and vocalist Donny Screws, guitarists Cliff Lee and Kelly Milner, and bassist Phil Gibbs and a family-friendly mix of blues, soul, and classic rock.

There is no admission fee, but be ready to spend a bit of money on great local food and your downtown merchants will be open late with special sales.

There will be free games and activities for children of all ages, including inflatable bounce houses donated by Shorty’s Quik Stop Auto. Be sure to register at the Eastman-Dodge County Chamber of Commerce booth to win one of two $50 Goody’s gift certificates. Drawings will be held at 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., and the winner must be present to win. Registration is limited to those 18 years of age and older.

No adult beverages or pets are allowed on Main Street during Main Street by Moonlight. The City of Eastman Police and Dodge County Sheriff’s deputies will patrol the streets to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
