Local teen wins national Bible drill competition.

NenaBeth Mickle won the National Youth Bible Drill Competition held June 16 in Brunswick. Mickle won the state competition held earlier this month in Stone Mountain. She was one of 12 competitors. Bible Drills are a combination of being able to find certain chapters and scriptures in the Bible (IE: 1 Corinthians 6:9) as well as recite certain scriptures from memory. Participants had eight seconds to accomplish the task. Mickle is the first Georgia representative to ever win national competition. She's the 13-year old daughter of Jeff and Joyce Mickle of Cochran.
