Hawkinsville High School Students Head to Washington | Best Of

Congratulations to Abby Holtzhouser for being selected by Middle Georgia EMC toattend the Washington Youth Tour this summer from June 14th through June 21st.

Abby is an 11th grade student at HHS. She submitted an essay about energy saving strategies, completed a panel interview and took a test given by EMC before being chosen for the tour. Abby is the daughter of Dean and Beverly Holtzhouser of Hawkinsville.

Mellisa McLeod was also selected to attend Washington Youth Tour through Ocmulgee EMC. Mellisa is an 12th grade student at HHS. She completed an essay and interview as well before being chosen from several candidates. Mellisa isthe daughter of Terry Dale and Robin McLeod of Hawkinsville.
