Freshman Bleckley Runner Picks up Awards at Championship Race | Best Of

Former BCHS athlete Jessi Young capped a great freshman season for Georgia Southwestern at the Peach Belt Athletic Conference cross country championship race held Saturday in Motavello, Alabama. 

Young finished eighth overall and was a second team all-conference selection. 

She was also named PBAC Freshman of the Year. 

Her time of 20:13 was a personal best and set a new school record in the 6K race.
