Bleckley County FFA Teams Place in National Competition | Best Of

The Bleckley County FFA Environmental and Natural Resources team competed at the 85th National FFA Convention held in Indianapolis, Indiana October 24th & 25th. The team placed 14th out of 40 teams in the nation and was awarded the gold emblem. Team members are Tyler Brack, Darren Crews, Austin Jones & Nick Kirkpatrick.  Austin Jones was the 15th place individual in the Nation. Austin and  Darren received gold emblem medals for their individual placing.  Tyler and Nick received silver emblem medal for their individual placing.


The Bleckley County FFA Forestry team competed at the 85th National FFA Convention held in Indianapolis, Indiana October 24th & 25th. The team placed 5th out of 38 teams in the nation and was awarded the gold emblem. Team members are Evan Bennett, Luke Moseley, Gabe Outlaw and Jessica Sewell. Gabe Outlaw placed 1st in the Nation in the Forestry Issues event and Jessica Sewell was the 14th place individual in the Nation. All members received the gold emblem medal for their individual placing.
