Bleckley Man Gives Back to Community

Ali Momin may be just in his early 20s, but for a young man, the operator of the Cochran Dairy Queen is far beyond his years.

Though his story begins with helping his father out with the family business, it wasn't until Ali's dad became very sick due to a heart condition and needed to have some extensive surgery that Ali stepped up to the plate.

And boy did he - as early as the ninth grade, Ali was managing, supervising, cooking and handling the family business while finishing his education.

Giving credit to his parents for their support and inspiration, Ali noted recently how grateful he was to the community of Cochran and Bleckley County. "Without their support, we wouldn't be here."
