Raffield signed a letter of intent with Clemson University baseball November 11. A celebration of that signing was held Friday afternoon in the BCHS Media Center. In his Royals career, Raffield has a 5-2 record over 59.2 innings pitched with a 1.76 ERA. He's struck out 80, walked 40. Though he'll only pitch with the Tigers, Raffield has also had a good offensive career, hitting .337 with four home runs and 21 RBI.
