Leadership Dodge Attends Law Enforcement Session

Leadership Dodge’s session on law enforcement was held Tuesday, May 14, 2013 with a focus on law enforcement and its economic impact on Dodge County. Sheriff Lynn Sheffield began with a tour of the new jail and discussed the sheriff department’s responsibilities, challenges, and cooperative efforts with city, state, and local agencies. The day ended at the courthouse with a discussion on the roles and duties, funding sources, and caseload of the Public Defender’s Office by Steve Harrison. District Attorney Vaughn described the duties and role of the District Attorney’s office.

The next Leadership Dodge class focuses on healthcare in Dodge County, and will be held June 11th.
