Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Scheduled for Eastman's New Conference Center

The Dodge County-Eastman Development Authority invites the community to the dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating Dodge County's new conference center located in Eastman, GA on Monday, September 26, 2012 at 1:30 p.m.  The Terry L. Coleman Conference Center is located at 1670 College Street next to the Eastman-Dodge County Chamber of Commerce and Welcome Center.

What began as a plan for tourism and growth over ten years ago, slowly took shape through the vision of Speaker Emeritus Terry L. Coleman and the members of the Development Authority as a tool for economic development in Dodge County. Primarily funded by the Dodge County-Eastman Development Authority, the project focused on renovating an empty building which formerly housed a technical school, and had become an eyesore.

Since the center's completion in April, 2011, the Terry L. Coleman Conference Center has hosted over 20 events drawing travellers from across the Southeast. Featuring over 10,000 square feet of meeting space, the Terry L. Coleman Conference Center offers a fully appointed kitchen with refrigerator and range, dual entrance foyers, restroom facilities, full audio and visual capabilities, and tables and seating for up to 350 guests. Situated off the 341 bypass, the center is ideally located next to hotels, and minutes from shopping, dining, and recreational attractions. With its open floor plan, the Terry L. Coleman Conference Center allows guests to customize the space for maximum value and impact. For rental information, please contact Rebecca McWilliam at the Eastman-Dodge County Chamber of Commerce at 478-374-4723 or view the Terry L. Conference Center at www.eastman-georgia.com or www.TheDodgeExperience.com

Join us in celebrating as Dodge County thanks the Dodge County-Eastman Development Authority and Speaker Emeritus Terry L. Coleman for their dedication to Dodge County.
