Bleckley Beautician Holds "Streaking" Event for Breast Cancer Awareness | Business
On October 6 in Cochran, there will be "streakin." But don't worry, it's safe to look. It's even encouraged. CryStyles salon will be holding "Streakin' For The Rack" from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The annual event is designed to raise money for those battling breast cancer. Bambrough began the day in which people could come and get pink "streaks" or extension in their hair two years ago. It's held during October, which is is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Bambrough though has a more personal reason to get involved. Her sister, Pamela Williams, is a survivor of breast cancer. The event was started in Williams' honor.
