Bleckley churches hold Easter activities despite weather | Community Spirit
Though the rain would either cancel or force postponment of some Easter activities, there were churches who moved their events indoors. Magician Mike Fuller showed children at Salem Baptist Church 'The Magic of Easter" Saturday morning. The children also enjoyed a hot dog lunch and egg hunt inside the Sunday School class rooms.
An outdoor egg hunt at Mt. Calvary was turned into indoor activities including hearing the Easter story and decorating cupcakes. Saturday afternoon, children and teens gathered at First Church of the Nazarene. After hearing the Easter story, they enjoyed hot dogs. Then teens assisted children with the egg hunt then helped run games such as cupcake walk.
