For the third year in a row, First Baptist Church of Cochran is holding "Hangout at the Hangar."  It's an outreach program that began June 30 and runs through July 31 held Monday-Thursday at the Hangar building (old Fred's Department Store) on Beech Street.

The program is for children in Kindegarten through eighth grade.  Grades K-5 can attend 9:30 am-12:30 pm while middle schoolers can come from 12:30-3 pm.  Activities include basketball, volleyball, and crafts.  Lunch is served each day from noon-1 pm through the USDA's Seamless Summer Feeding program for children 18 and under, dine in only.
