Cochran Motor Speedway held the third annual Arlene Pittman Memorial Race Saturday evening.  Pittman was a driver at CMS and the wife of former track owner Phil Pittman.

Before the races began, the family was presented with a plaque honoring Pittman for being a "loyal, devoted, Fan/Driver/Promoter of Cochran Motor Speedway."

Track announcer Pastor Todd Shearin, who presented the plaque, said it would be displayed in the VIP booth of the tower.

Other memorials are displayed there, including one for longtime race reporter April Johnson.
