Late surge of people lifts Cochran Blood Drive numbers. | Community Spirit
The American Red Cross held a blood drive Monday afternoon at the County Extension Office in Cochran. Organizers said it'd been slow going for most of the day. But around 6 pm, traffic increased. By 6:20, 45 people had come in to donate.
A flyer sent out by the Red Cross last week stated that there was an emergency need for blood because of several drives across the country being cancelled due to winter storms. You can learn more abut other drives in Middle Georgia by going here.
