Title (Max 100 Charaters)
Miss Georgia, Michaela Grace Lackey, visited Eastman-Dodge County Thursday, February 9th.
Michaela enjoyed a luncheon with the Eastman Garden club. She shared her platform with the ladies, and explained how her journey as Miss Georgia would not have been possible without her faith in Jesus Christ. After the luncheon, Michaela enjoyed visiting the different merchants in downtown Eastman.
One of her last stops was at Coleman's Gifts & Framing.
Coleman's, owned & operated by Bill and Judy Lowery, is the oldest store in Eastman.
Coleman's was also recently named 2011 Small Business of the Year by the Eastman-Dodge Chamber of Commerce.
Michaela is from Marietta, and was a softball player in High School. She is pictured with the Lowery's granddaughter, Margaret Simmons, short-stop for Dodge County Middle School's Softball team.
