Bleckley to Provide Free Meals During Summer

Children's programs will be able to provide free meals to children during the summer.

That's thanks to the U.S. Department of Agriculture working with Bleckley County School Nutrition Program, a news release says.

The program will operate from May 16-July 27th, with a holiday closing on July 4th.

If you would like free lunch provided for your summer program, summer activity or Bible school, contact Kathy Peavy at 478-934-2821.

Event organizers who wish to have the meals will need to attend a required trainging meeting.
