Hawkinsville Golf Tournament to Benefit Wounded, Injured Service Members | Community Spirit

Golfers from throughout Georgia gather Friday for the Second Annual Invitational Tournament to benefit Birdies for the Brave, according to a news release.

Birdies for the Brave is a PGA charity that helps service men and women who were wounded or injured while in the line of duty.

Last year, the tournament raised $62K for the organization.  One hundred percent of the tournament proceeds go toward Birdies for the Brave.

The event isn't open to the public, but takes place at Southern Hills in Hawkinsville.
