Local Salon Holds Streakin' For Breast Cancer Event | Community Spirit

At CryStyles Salon in Cochran Saturday, hundreds of people went streakin'.  But this kind of streakin' was safe for Ethel to look at it.  CryStyles hosted "Streakin' For The Racks" as part of breast cancer awareness month. 

People came to get streaks, clip ons, or in some cases, pink spray-painted hair. 

T-shirts and other items were on sale.  Proceeds from the event will benefit women in the community battling breast cancer.  The first "streakin" event was held three years ago. 

It was started by CrySyles owner Crystal Bambrough in honor of her sister Pamela Williams, a breast cancer survivor.
