Bleckley Church Holds Mission Mart | Community Spirit
Saturday, October 6, the parking lot surrounding Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Cary, the lot across from the church and the side of the road by the the church were full of cars, trucks and even a few SUVs as people from all over central Georgia came to shop at the 3rd annual Mt. Calvary Mission Mart.
The event, coordinated by Elaine Bates, had a simple purpose – raise money for mission projects that the church supports. Vendors from all over central Georgia came to participate – offering arts and craft items. There were all sorts of odds and ends – homemade jams, jellies, pillows, birdhouses, jewelry, crochet items, books, cookbooks and area business were on hand too.
