Young to Be Part of Activities in AutoZone Liberty Bowl | Community Spirit

Jessi Young, crowned America's Homecoming Queen this past July, was also selcted to be the AutZone Liberty Bowl Queen.  Her family says Young will be a part of activities for the 54th AutoZone Liberty Bowl December 28-31 in Memphis, TN.  Young will attend a pro rodeo sponsored by Ford that Friday.  Young was asked to sing the National Anthem for the coaches' and players luncheon she will attend on Saturday.   She, along with other Homecoming Queens from across the nation, will visit the St. Jude's Children's Hospital on Sunday.  Young will then ride down historic Beal Street as part of the Liberty Bowl parade.

That evening, she'll attend the AutoZone President's Gala where the Temptations featuring the Temptations.  On Monday, Young will be on the field for the coin toss and appear on stage during the Temptations halftime performance.  This year's Liberty Bowl, featuring Iowa State taking on Tulsa, has a 2:30 p.m. kickoff and can be seen on ESPN.
