Former BCHS Cheerleader Cheering Again | Community Spirit

Before this fall, the last time Amanda Nguyen had picked up a pair of pom poms was 2008. 

The former BCHS cheerleader was missing cheering, but hadn't had the opportunity while in college. 

That changed when she came to North Georgia College and State University. 

Nguyen tried out for and made the Saints squad and has been on the sidelines during basketball games.

She hoped for an opportunity to resume competition cheerleading but said they were in a rebuilidng mode and added they hoped to compete next year.  Nguyen says she's "thorougly enjoying again" and that "It feels good to be back on the mats."
