Dodge Co. Wrestling Has Banner Year | Community Spirit

The Dodge County Wrestling Club (DCW) recently closed out its sixth season on the mat by placing 20th out of 139 teams in two state tournaments over the past two weekends.

A great feat considering only 12 Dodge grapplers wrestled at State.

There was not a team above DCW  in the top 20 that had less than 18 participants. The next highest team with 12 or fewer wrestlers placed 33rd. This is also the first year in the history of the Dodge wrestling program that we had State place winners at every age group level; 6 and Under, 8 and Under, 10 and Under, 12 and Under, 14 and Under, and High School.

Thanks to a very supportive community and incredibly dedicated parents for supporting the young athletes in the oldest sport in the history of athletic competition.
