Two Men Charged in Two Dodge Co. Homicides

The GBI says they've arrested one man and are looking for a second in connection with two recent murder-armed robberies in Dodge County.

GBI spokesman Todd Lowery says Jeffrey Madison was arrested today and charged in last Friday's killing of Jimmy Gay and last month's death of Greg Giddens.

He's charged with two counts each of murder and armed robbery.

They're looking for a second man, Nathaniel Cummings, of Eastman. He faces the same charges in those cases.

Lowery would not say how Gay and Giddens died, but said both men were robbed.

He also said the connection between the suspects and the victims is unclear.

"These appear to be random, but we don't know that yet," he said.

According to Lowery, 50-year-old Greg Giddens was found dead in his Eastman home on May 12.

He says Gay was found dead last Friday, May 31, in woods off  Harry Hargrove Road.  He was found dead near some county-owned dumpsters and apparently died that night.

Lowery said Cummings is armed and considered very dangerous.
