Cochran native shares his vision for helping women.

Cochran native Sam Haupt spoke at the monthly Cochran Women's Club meeting Tuesday afternoon.  Haupt is the Executive Director of Sacred Roots Farm in Gainesville, an organization seeking to establish a working, sustainable farm for trafficked women and children.  He shared how his work in missions gave him inspiration for starting the project, services that will be offered for abused women (IE: drug counseling) and where things currently stand in terms of financial support.  To learn more, visit www.sacredrootsfarm.org

The Cochran Women's Club meets the second Tuesday of each month at the Community House, 193 Third St.
