Chicken plate sale helping fund upcoming church mission trip.

House of Grace church members sold grilled chicken plates Saturday night. Proceeds will go toward an August mission trip to Honduras. Church members going are: Thomas Weekley, Aaron Curry, Lee Wimberly, Katlin Lucas, Christie McUmber, Jan Brister, John Brister, Sheena Gibberson, and Adam Hall. The group dug wells on a mission trip last year, this year they'll be building water lines to homes.

Also part of the trip will be outreach sessions at the community center and sharing at local churches during the evenings. Donations of cash, lined or unlined spiral notebooks, colored pencils, crayons, and powdered baby formula are sought for the trip. Cash donations can be made online at houseofgracecochran.org Formula and supplies can be dropped off at the church, 133 Jac Arts Road.
