Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Scheduled for Eastman's New Conference Center

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Scheduled for Eastman's New Conference Center

The Dodge County-Eastman Development Authority invites the community to the dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating Dodge County's new conference center located in Eastman, GA on Monday, September 26, 2012 at 1:30 p.m.  The Terry L. Coleman Conference Center is located at 1670 College Street next to the Eastman-Dodge County Chamber of Commerce and Welcome Center.

What began as a plan for tourism and growth over ten years ago, slowly took shape through the vision of Speaker Emeritus Terry L. Coleman and the members of the Development Authority as a tool for economic development in Dodge County. Primarily funded by the Dodge County-Eastman Development Authority, the project focused on renovating an empty building which formerly housed a technical school, and had become an eyesore.
