Church to Host Fourth Annual "Drive Through Bethlehem"

Bethany Baptist Church will have its fourth annual "Drive Through Bethlehem" event December 10-12 from 6-8 pm. 

Motorists line up in the middle school parking lot and will drive through (with headlights off) through a reinactment of the Christmas story.  The town (set up in the church parking lot) will feature a nativity scene,  Roman soldiers, live animals, shops, and much more.

Cochran Christmas Parade

The annual Lighted Christmas Parade will take place on Friday, Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. along Second Street.

Town of Chester Christmas Parade

The Chester Annual Christmas Parade will take place on Nov. 20 at 2 p.m.

Line up at Chester Baptist Church at 1 p.m.

After the parade, coffee and donuts will be served at the gym.

Christmas Parade Promises Fun in Downtown Eastman

Eastman's annual Christmas Parade is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 11 at 1 p.m.

The Lion's Club Christmas Parade will brighten Eastman's historic Main Street with floats, dance performances, live music and a visit from St. Nicholas.

There is no admission fee, and there will be a Hometown Holiday Celebration after the parade featuring the best in hometown cooking, crafts and entertainment.

Hometown Holiday Celebration

Capture a bit of hometown magic this holiday season in Eastman with our Hometown Holiday Celebration on December 11.  Festivities begin downtown along historic Main Street with the Eastman Lions Club Christmas Parade at 1 p.m.

Dash through Dodge kicks off immediately following the Parade, so strap on those comfy shoes and prepare to finish your holiday shopping. 

Beginning December 2nd, pick up your Holiday Shopping Passport from these participating retail locations: Charlton’s Place, Coleman’s Gifts & Framing, Martha Sheldon Florist, Perfect Hearts Children’s Boutique, and Piddlin’ Peddler, Jonathan’s: A Full Service Salon, Aaron’s, Ray Smith Wireless, Eugene Smith Jewelers, Shorty’s Quik Stop Auto #4, Resell Therapy, Sidetrack Café, Marketplace, Sears: A Hometown Store, and Clay’s Automotive. 

On Dec. 11 from 2:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. shop each of the participating retailer locations where your Holiday Shopping Passport will be stamped.

The Magnolia Music and Medicine Show

The presentation of the Medicine Show will feature Solstice Sisters, singer-songwriter Marlin Brackett, The Medicine Men, and local talent Erin Smith, along with The Magnolia Players, and regular cast on Dec. 11 from 7-9 p.m.

The performance is an effort put on by the Dodge County Arts Guild six times a year at Magnola Theater on Main Street in Eastman.
