Mobile COVID-19 testing site at Heartland EMS May 29.

The South Central Health District will have a mobile COVID-19 testing site at Heartland EMS in Cochran, 266 Lucas Road, May 29 from 9 am-1 pm.  No appointment  or referral is needed.  Call (478)275-6570 for more information.

Middle Georgia State to host web-based info session on Master of Arts in Technical and Professional

Middle Georgia State University will host a web-based information session on its Master of Arts in Technical and Professional Writing May 27 at 5:30 pm. It's for anyone interested in the class or the 15 credit hour graduate certificate in Technical Writing and Digital Communications to ask questions. Cornerstone Church of Cochran holding Revival May 17-19.

Cornerstone Church of Cochran will hold Revival services May 17-19 with guest speaker Dr. Steve Foss. Service times are 10:45 am and 6 pm on Sunday, 7 pm Monday and Tuesday. The service will also be streamed online via the church Facebook page. Masks and gloves will be available to anyone needing them and the church will be practicing social distancing.

Another church to hold drive-in services May 17.

House of Grace Church will have "drive-in church" May 17 at 10:30 am. According to a post on the church Facebook page, it will take place in the old Fred's Parking Lot at Eastgate Plaza on Dykes Street. The event description reads simply "Worship with others from the safety of your own vehicle."

Limestone Baptist holding "Church in the Park" May 17.

Limestone Baptist Church in Cochran will hold a drive-in service at their softball field located on Limestone Road May 17 at 9 am. Entitled "Church in the Park,"those attending are instructed to remain in their cars throughout the service. You're also asked to arrive early.

Bethany Baptist Church to continue in-person services.

Bethany Baptist Church announced they would again hold an in-person service for Mother's Day at 11 am. They plan to resume evening services on May 17 at 6 pm. Those attending are asked to practice social distancing.

Cornerstone Church of Cochran to celebrate seventh anniversary with "welcome back" service.

May 3 will be the seventh anniversary for Cornerstone Church of Cochran. The church will celebrate that milestone by holding in-person services, their first since the COVID-19 pandemic. It starts at 10:45 am. The church is located at 129 E. Beech Street.
