Families, News

Parents of children with physical, mental, or emotional special needs in Cochran are invited to the first meeting of a new support group being organized by faculty and students of Middle Georgia State University's Occupational Therapy Assistant Degree Program. The first meeting will be September 25 from 5:30-6:30 pm in room 108 of Roberts Library located at the corner of Ann and Second Streets. Program lecturer Lauren Padgett Grey said in a release they realized through their work that many parents needed organized support not available locally. She added "We wanted to see if we could help meet a need those parents have as they advocate for their children." Parents with questions before the meeting can contact Gray, (478)934-3114, lauren.padgett@mga.edu
