Bleckley Summer Theatre Camp to present High School Musical.

Bleckey Summer Theatre Camp is returning June 16-23 for children ages 4-13.  This year's selection is Disney's High School Musical.  The camp will be held at House of Grace, 133 Jac Arts Road in Cochran.  Camp dates are June 16-23, with performances at 7 pm on that Friday, as well as at 2 and 7 pm on June 24.  Cost is $125 per child, $25 late fee applied if registering after due date of June 12.  Cost includes snack, lunch, and T-Shirt.

Cochran church holding Revival services June 5-7.

Faith Temple Precious Faith Ministries will hold Revival services June 5-7.  Speakers each night as as follows. June 5- Bishop Collins.  June 6- Pastor Ruby Holmes.  June 7- Evangelist Kawanna Walker.  All services start at 7 pm. The church is located at 383 GA 87.

Christ Chapel Cochran held a fireworks show Sunday night as part of Memorial Day weekend.  Unoffiical estimates place the crowd at between 1,500 and 2,00 people.  To see more photos, click here.

Cochran church opening food bank tomorrow.

Faith Temple Precious Faith Ministries will open their food bank tomorrow from 4-5 pm for local residents.  The church is located at 383 GA 87.  For more information, call Sheri Ligon, (478)298-2844.

Cochran church holding Memorial Day Weekend Fireworks Show.

Christ Chapel Cochran, 330 W Dykes St, will hold a fireworks show May 28 at 9 pm.  Bring lawn chairs for seating. Fireworks show as well as music.  Free soft drinks and bottled water, free gifts for children.

Cochran church to honor veterans, graduates May 28.

Turner Chapel AME Church will hold a pair of special services May 28 honoring the memory of those who served as well as graduating seniors.   Deceased veterans will be recognized during the 11 am service.  A baccalaureate service with School Superintendent Steve Smith as guest speaker will take place at 2:30 pm that afternoon.  Call Doris Harris, (478)397-4797, for information on either.  The church is located at 163 N Second St in Cochran.
