Health, News, People

Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church announced that in-person services would be cancelled for the remainder of June following one of their members testing positive for COVID-19. According to post on the church Facebook page, the member was tested as part of a routine checkup. The individual has been asymptomatic and is quarantining at home for the next 14 days. The post goes on to say while the individual did attend last week’s service, members shouldn’t panic because of social distancing precautions that were observed both during and after the service. Sunday morning services will be streamed via Facebook at 11 am for the next two weeks. In-person services are scheduled to resume July 5.
