BC girls win big while boys comeback versus Lamar falls short

MyEsha Moore scored four of her career-best 17 points in the final minute of the first half as the Lady Royals took a 44-23 halftime lead.  BCHS won easily 67-45.  Tia Troup also had 17.

The Royals trailed Lamar County throughout and were down by 17 points in the third quarter.  BC battled back and was within seven going to the fourth.  Kevonn Farrow's three with 2:29 left made it an 83-81 game.  Afrer the Trojans missed the front in of a one and one,  BCHS had a chance to tie but turned the ball over.

Lamar went on to win 89-81.  D'Andre Pitts scored 20.  Shaunkendrick Brown had 15.  Tavon Ross finished with 14.  Saturday's home games versus Hawkinsville will be the only meeting this season.  JV tip at 3 pm with varsity to follow.
