Bleckley's 9-10 girls continued state tournament play Thursday in Madison.  After a 23-4 rout of Jasper County, they'd take on another "BC" in Berrien County.  The Rebelettes led 8-0 after an inning and a half.

Bleckley answered with ten and went on to win 22-14.  It was the third straight 20-run outburst.  Shelton Dean was 4 for 5 including the game-clinching RBI hit.  Joni Lucas was 4 for 4 with a double.  Nena Beth Mickle went 3 for 4.  Katherine Purser went 2 for 4 with a triple.  Addisyn Keel was 2 for 4.  Janyla West and Rickerson both went 2 for 2.  Juliette Stevens and Darcie Dillard were 1 for 2.

A win Friday at 10 am versus Bacon County will put Bleckley into the state title game.  It'd be the first appearance for the 9-10 girls division since 2004.

The 11-12 boys lost to Jeff Davis in their second state game Thursday 7-4 in Sylvania.  Rain that evening supspended their game against Appling County until Friday at 10:30 a.m.
