Friday night's match-up that put the Dodge County Indians against the Hawkinsville Red Devils was one that both Dodge County Coach Rex Hodges and Hawkinsville High School Coach David Daniell had been prepping their teams hard for.

And evidence in that was in the tug-of-war contest between possessions for both the Indians and the Red Devils in the first quarter.

It was a more aggressive, more straight-hitting Red Devil defense seen on the field Friday night than in their previous week's game against Bleckley County High School.

But in the end, it was Dodge County who came out with the win on the board 41-0. For more on the story, click here.
