Lady Royals Clinch Top Seed in Upcoming 4-AA Playoffs | HS Sports

Though rain delayed Bleckley's regular season finale by one day, things couldn't have gone much better for the Lady Royals. 

They won 16-1 at Northeast Wednesday.  Joanna Knight was 3 for 3 with 3 RBI.  Taylor Little was 2 for 2 with 1 RBI.  

Elizabeth Mathis went 2 for 3 with 3 RBI.  Lindsey Dabbs was 2 for 3.  Emmie Meadows was 2 for 4 with a double and 2 RBI.  Emily Lawson was 2 for 4 with a two-run double and 3 RBI.

Even better was learning soon after that Monticello had beaten Putnam County 10-2.  As a result, BCHS has top seed in the upcoming 4-AA playoffs.  They will host a semifinal game versus the lower seed between 3 vs 6 and 4 vs 5 on October 1.  Region finals are October 4.
