Dodge Loses for First Time Friday | HS Sports

Friday night football was at its best in tri-county Sept. 21, and  the place to be was at Shelly Hayes Staidum in Cochran. If you were fortunate enough to arrive early you could tell this was going to be different.  There was tailgating, free hot dogs (compliments of Mt Calvary Baptist Church), and a packed crowd. There was an unusual excitement in the air as Bleckely County was going to face the previously undefeated Dodge County Indians, who wereranked #6 in Class AAA. Maybe it was because the Indians had blown out their previous competition all being lopsided wins. There was something different in the air.
