Bleckley Wins Big in Region Opener | HS Sports

Ken Hughes rushed for three first half touchdowns and Tavon Ross had a pair of scores as the Royals rolled over Putnam 54-16 in Eatonton Friday.  Hughes had scoring runs of 37 and 38 yards as well as one of five yards.  He finished with 112 yards on 12 carries.

Ross ran for 108 on nine carries, all in the first half.  Included in that was a 53-yard second quarter touchdown run.  Tij'ea Randall scored once and had a carrer-high 84 yards on nine carries.  Derrick Farrow also had a pair of touchdown runs as part of a 340 yard rushing attack.

Bleckley will celebrate Homecoming when they host Crawford County October 5.  Kickoff is 7:30 p.m.
