Bleckley Stays Perfect in Region with Win Versus Taylor County | HS Sports

Before the season, there was lots of talk about October 26.  That's the night Bleckley travels to Barnesville to take on Lamar County.  Many thought it could be a potential region championship game.  The Royals made sure to do their part to keep it that way as they won at home Friday.

Ken Hughes had three touchdowns and Bryant Trice returned a blocked punt for six as Bleckley beat Taylor County 35-14. 

Savon Walters had 91 yards on 15 carries. 

Tavon Ross went for 82 yards on 11 carries including a touchdown and was also 5 of 7 for 54 yards passing.

Bleckley plays at Lamar County next Friday.  Both teams are undefeated in Region 4-AA.  Kickoff is 7:30 p.m.
