Turnovers Costly in Bleckley Loss to Lamar County | HS Sports

Yardage-wise, Friday's Bleckley vs Lamar County game proved just as close as was expected.  The Royals had 231, the Trojans 236.  But one thing made a difference.  Turnovers.  Bleckley committed six, Lamar 0.  Four offensive turnovers and a blocked punt resulted in 29 points as BCHS lost 39-7.

Savon Walters had 62 yards on 16 carries.  Tavon Ross had 41 yards on nine carries and was 4 of 8 for 81 yards passing with one touchdown and two interceptions.  Senior night is November 2 when BCHS hosts Monticello.  Senior Night activities start at 7 p.m. with kickof at 7:30.
