Derrick Farrow had 116 yards on nine carries, and scored the opening and final Bleckley touchdowns, as the Royals won at Northeast Friday 28-20. The win means Bleckley will host a home playoff game for the first time in school history.
Ken Hughes added 58 yards on 12 carries. Tavon Ross went 3 for 7 passing for 43 yards and one touchdown. He also had a 26-yard touchdown run. Head Coach Tracy White was happy with the win but knew they couldn't celebrate long.
"Words can't describe how proud I am of the coaches and the players. I know our opponent is gonna be a tough one but we're just gonna enjoy tonight and go to work on Cook or Early tomorrow afternoon."
That opponent will be Early County November 16 in Cochran.
