Lady Royals Unable to Rally in Great Southern Shootout Opener | HS Sports

A cold second quarter versus Howard Tuesday at the Great Southern Shootout caused what was a three-point deficit to balloon to 13 by halftime.  Down 16 in the third, Tia Troup scored five of her 18 points as Bleckley got within 37-30 going to the fourth. 

Down three with a little over four minutes left, N'yasia Anderson's bucket as time expired was the only basket over final four plus minutes in a 50-44 loss.

Anderson scored 14  BCHS plays Jackson, Atlanta Friday.  Tip time is noon at Westside High School.
