Balanced Attack Leads Lady Royals to Win in Shootout Finale | HS Sports

All five starters scored, two had six points, as the Lady Royals had  a 26-6 lead after one quarter over host Westside in the finale of the Great Southern Shootout Saturday.  Bleckley went on to a 65-46 win.  Tia Troup and N'yasia Anderson scored 12 each.  Cam Tillman had 11.  Dewanda Blackshear scored 10 and was named to the all-tournament team.

The Lady Royals return to action January 4 at Macon County.  Tip time is 6 p.m.  Bleckley's boys open play in the Antebellum Holiday Classic against Cedar Shoals December 28 at Baldwin High School.  That game starts at 2:30 p.m.
