BCHS Survives Cold Shooting to Pick Up Sweep at Monticello

The Lady Royals led just 18-16 at halftime of Tuesday's game at Monticello on an Alexis Woodfaulk basket with under a minute left in the second quarter.  They used a 22-4 third quarter to win 46-26.  Tia Troup scored 12.

The Royals led by four at halftime after being held scoreless over the final two plus minutes.  Dytrez Nelson's three pushed a three-point lead to six.  Perfect free throw shooting in the fourth helped Bleckley overcome their lowest offensive output of the year to win 32-23.  Mario Beck had 13.  Rydealous Taylor scored 11.

The Northeast girls lost at home Tuesday to Putnam County.  As a result, Friday's game against the Raiderettes gains importance.  A Lady Royals win and the teams are tied for first.  JV girls tip at 4:15 pm.  Senior night activities will take place between the girls and boys game.  The BCHS Cheerleading Camp participants will perform during halftime of the girls game.
