Lady Royals Season Ends in Elite Eight | HS Sports

BCHS looked to continue one of the best girls season in recent memory as they traveled to perennial power Thomasville for an elite eight contest.  Down two after one, BC scored two points in the first four minutes before consecutive threes by Tia Troup and Cam Tillman tied the score at 21.  The Lady Dogs ended the half on a 16-5 run to lead 37-26 at halftime.

Thomasville scored three points in the first 3:58 of the first but Bleckley only scored two.   They got within nine briefly but trailed 11 going to the fourth.   THS opened on a 9-2 run as BCHS lost 62-48.  Tillman scored 20.  Tia Troup scored nine, the first non double-figure game since a January 18 loss at Northeast.  It was also the last BC loss before Tuesday.

Bleckley finishes their year 24-7.
