Bleckley Basketball Team Falls in Second Round of State

Bleckley Basketball Team Falls in Second Round of State

Just like the Northeast game, Bleckley got off to a 7-0 start in their second round playoff game at Albany Wednesday.

They would give up a big run to end the first (16-4) and trailed at halftime, just as they did against Northeast.

That's where the similiarites ended.

The Royals did not have a basket for the first 6:32 of the third as an eight-point haftime deficit grew to 17.

BCHS would go on to lose to the third-ranked Indians 68-41.

Team shooting was 31 percent including 3 of 20 from three-point range.

Mario Beck scored 11.  Bleckley finishes the year 20-11, 3-3 in 3B-AA.
