BCHS avenges earlier loss to Hawkinsville.

 Bleckley scored 11 of their 14 runs over the final three innings as they avenged an earlier loss to Hawkinsville with a 14-1 win Tuesday night. Chandler Abney went 3 for 3 with 2 RBI. Sam Knighton was 3 for 4 with 4 RBI. Noah Wimberly went 2 for 4 with 1 RBI. Knighton, Shayne Cannon, and Lane Kitchens combined to give up one run, two hits, over seven innings.  The Royals travel to Lyons to play Toombs County today at 5:45 pm.

BCHS gets walkoff win versus Jeff Davis.

Bleckley trailed 3-2 in the bottom of the seventh Monday night against Jeff Davis.  Sam Knighton's two-out single tied the game.  In the eighth, Cohen Lee led off with a pinch hit single.  He was replaced by Tripp Purser.  Purser got to third on a throwing error following Cody Dennis' bunt.  Lane Kitchens followed with a single, scoring Purser, and giving the Royals a 4-3 win.  The team was without Carter Raffield.

BCHS plays today at Hawkinsville.  Game time is 5:30 pm.

Bleckley had more errors (four) than hits (two) as they lost 11-1 at home to Dodge County Friday night.  Lane Kitchens and Carter Raffield were both 1 for 2, Raffield had a double.  The Royals host Jeff Davis March 26 at 6 pm.

BCHS baseball falls at Veterans.

After both a home game in February, as well as Monday's contest scheduled at Veterans, were postponed due to weather, the Royals and Warhawks played Thursday aftenroon in Kathleen.  It was a rough day for BC as they lost 8-1.  BCHS will seek to rebound today against Dodge County.  Game time is 5:45 pm in Cochran.

BCHS baseball game at Southwest rescheduled.

Today's Bleckley at Southwest baseball game has been rescheduled for April 13 in Cochran as part of a doubleheader due to wet field conditions  Game one starts at 4:30 pm.

Bleckley at Veterans baseball game postponed.

Threatening weather has postponed today's BCHS at Veterans baseball game to Thursday at 5 pm.

Late runs lift BCHS to big region win.

BCHS led 3-1 after four innings at home versus East Laurens Friday night.  A three-run fifth and five more in he sixh, capped by Carter Raffield's three-run home run, gave the Royals an 11-1 win.  To read more, click here.
