Boys break slump in split at Dublin.

Tuesday night in Dublin, the BCHS girls rallied from 19 down in the third quarter only to lose 50-48.  The boys staged their own comeback, erasing a 13-point second quarter deficit to win 66-59.  To read more, click here.

BCHS softball player to continue career at Gordon State.

Bailey Odom signed her letter of intent to play for Gordon State College in a ceremony held there Saturday afternoon.  Odom hit .400 with 21 RBI, 6 doubles, three home runs and had a slugging percentage of .600. As a pitcher, she won eight games, struck out 69. with an ERA of 2.91. She also had a .911 fielding percentage with four errors.

Both the Lady Royals and Royals trailed by three points against Northeast Friday night.  Bad third quarters from both teams led to BCHS suffering their third straight sweep.  To read more, click here.

Tough weekend as basketball team return to the court.

The BCHS basketball teams returned to the court this weekend playing at Montgomery County Friday night and at Dodge County last night.  Though the Lady Royals won Friday, they lost at Dodge County and also saw starting guard Jayla Willis go out with a knee injury.

BCHS basketball teams return to the court this weekend.

Though school in Cochran doesn't resume until January 7, BCHS basketball resumes with games this Friday and Saturday.  On January 4, the Lady Royals and Royals will wrap up their season series with Montgomery County, traveling to Mount Vernon.  Bleckley and Dodge will resume their longtime rivalry on January 5 in Eastman.  Tip times for both is 6 pm.
