BCHS girls cross country makes history.

The Runnin' Royals girls cross country team won the AA state title Saturday in Carrollton.  It's their straight, marking the first three-time state champion in Bleckley County High School histry.  The third title also eclipses competition cheerleading, winner of two state titles.  The girls had four runners in the top ten including Emily Youngblood who finished state runner up.

BCHS wins football finale.

The Royals finished 2018 on a high note, beating Southwest 33-12 Thursday night.  For stats and info on individual honors for two players, click here.

BCHS football game versus Southwest moved to tomorrow.

Bleckley County High Schoo's final football game versus Southwest has been moved to November 1 at 7 pm.  The announcement came Tuesday afternoon and is due to no officials being avaialble Friday.  It will be in Cochran.  Senior night activities start at 6:30 pm, the game kicks off at 7.

Though BCHS saw their first place streak end at Swainsboro High School's Rumble in the Jungle, they had a solid day after two weeks off.  To read more, click here.

Football team struggles at Dodge County.

Though BCHS trailed just 14-0 at halftime against Dodge County Friday night, a pair of third quarter touchdowns put the game out of reach as the Royals lost 35-7.  To read more, click here.

A perfect day for BCHS cross country teams.
The Runnin' Royals cross country teams both had perfect scores of 15 as each won the 3-AA title Thursday morning. Emily Youngblood was individual girls champion, Austin Perez was runner up. Jaylen Thigpen was boys individual champion, Austin Hiner was runner up. Both teams will be in Carrollton for state November 3. The boys run at 9:30 am, girls 10:15
