It was another busy monthly meeting for the Bleckley County Board of Education Tuesday night.  Actions taken included setting the final millage rate for 2018 and hiring of another school resource officer.   To read more, click here.

Weather cancels BCHS softball game at Wilcox County.

The Lady Royals were en route to Rochelle for a Monday afternoon game at Wilcox County when they received a phone call about weatehr issues, cancelling the game.  As a result, the September 10 game in Cochran that was originially set to be a JV/Varsity doubleheader has been changed into a varsity only doubleheader starting at 4 pm.  Weather permitting, BCHS plays at Washington County today at 5:30 pm.
