BCHS baseball gets first win following weekend in Brunswick.

Bleckley spent the weekend in Brunwick playing at Glynn Academy Friday night and against Lassiter High School at Brunswick High School Saturday afternoon.  Though losing on Friday 5-3, the Royals broke into the win column thanks to a Sam Knighton four-hitter, 2-0 on Saturday.

BCHS hosts Veterans High School tomorrow at 6 pm.

Girls win as soccer splits with Northside.

The BCHS girls got goals from Jayda Danner, Juliet Cairney, Suzanne Searcy, and Molly Williams to win at Northside 4-1 Friday night.  The boys gave up three goals in the first half in losing 4-0.  Bleckley will play at the Crusader Kickoff Classic March 2.  Girls take on John Milledge at 5 pm, the boys will face host Trinity Christian at 8.

Update on BCHS tennis.

The Bleckley girls tennis team is 4-0 on the season, boys are 1-3.  Both are 1-0 in region having won against Northeast at home Tuesday.  They play today at Stratford Academy and will host Washington County February 27.  Both start at 4 pm.

BCHS baseball struggling early.

Bleckley is currently 0-3 on the young baseball season, losing a pair of neutral site games Saturday to Ringgold and Greenbreier High Schools played at Richmond Hill.  The Royals will be spending the weekend in Brunswick, playing at Glynn Academy February 23 and another neutral site game against Lassiter High School at Brunswick High School that Saturday at 1 pm.

Bleckley girls fall in round one of state.

The Lady Royals season ended in round one of state with a 63-31 loss at Josey Friday night.  Jahnaria Brown had 17 points.  BCHS finishes the season 15-13.
