Cheerleaders have solid return to the mat.

Though BCHS saw their first place streak end at Swainsboro High School's Rumble in the Jungle, they had a solid day after two weeks off.  To read more, click here.

Football team struggles at Dodge County.

Though BCHS trailed just 14-0 at halftime against Dodge County Friday night, a pair of third quarter touchdowns put the game out of reach as the Royals lost 35-7.  To read more, click here.

A perfect day for BCHS cross country teams.
The Runnin' Royals cross country teams both had perfect scores of 15 as each won the 3-AA title Thursday morning. Emily Youngblood was individual girls champion, Austin Perez was runner up. Jaylen Thigpen was boys individual champion, Austin Hiner was runner up. Both teams will be in Carrollton for state November 3. The boys run at 9:30 am, girls 10:15

The Lady Royals were unable to secure a second straight elite eight berth, losing to Harlem by scores of 10-7 and 8-0.  To read more, click here.

Though Hurricane Michael forced the Royals Homecoming football game versus East Laurens to Monday night, it was still a good night for BC as they won 56-21.  Akira Fleming was crowned Homecoming Queen during halftime.

The Lady Royals hit threee home runs including a game-clinching two-run shot by Riley Edge in game one, to sweep their opening state playoff series against Metter 10-1, 14-4.  To read more, click here.

Cheerleaders gain from "Battle at the Colosseum."

For the second straight Saturday, BCHS traveled in order to be scored by different judges, going to Johns Creeek High School for the "Battle at the Colosseum."  While winning was nice, Bleckley was scored tougher, getting feedback that will help in their goals of winning region and building on last year's sixth place finish at state.
